Global Talent and Technology strategy for a global powerhouse

Worley undertook a major people study across the full talent lifecycle for their 53,000 staff across 46 countries. This program covered Talent Acquisition, Talent Management Practices, Talent Marketplace, HR Technology, Employee Listening, Performance Management and Compensation.

TQ Scope

TQ were engaged to do a strategic review of the Talent Acquisition, Talent Management Strategy and Talent Marketplace, re-imagining the future state of these people streams.  Our objective was to build a comprehensive business case for capital allocation and funding approval. Our scope included designing a talent strategy and frameworks to drive a skills-based mindset, workforce mobility and agility (enabled by AI Talent Marketplace technology), talent technology stack re-architecture, candidate experience and creating better connection between employees and opportunities.

Outcomes

The business case for capital allocation and funding approval included full cost benefit analysis, along with quick wins to demonstrate immediate impact. A new, global Talent Strategy framework was developed and aligned with the business strategy and built around TQ 6 R Model  - Review, Recruit, Rotate, Refresh, Retain and Release. This resulted in the introduction of an Intelligence (AI) and Experience layer within Worley’s tech stack to dramatically enhance user experience and create deep skills visibility and career pathways.
